Breathing into the edges of the unknown

A sense of joy flooded across my body like a child’s smile at the end of a park ride. Let’s do it again! And again! I looked up at the sky, arms outstretched, fleet splayed and body soaking up the soft floor. No, I’m not talking about the joy of sex! I’ve discovered something far more mind-blowing and a whole lot simpler! Something that has been staring me in the face my whole life. A way of uniting mind and body, a way of releasing tensions, a way of ascending powerfully to the highest levels of focussed awareness and a way of diving intentionally to the delicious depths of the subconscious.

Loosen the knots, untie the string, release the blocks and heal from within. I’ve been saying this for years, but I was mostly talking about Reiki. I have a new love. And it is a perfect partner for the energy healing that has been my constant and true companion. It is the breath. It is, in fact, breathwork. But, I prefer to call it breath-joy.

Exploring the breath and the ways it can release me from the analytical mind is my first journey, but I know there will be many others around the power of the breath to transform and heal. I’m committed to a year-long journey to become a breathwork facilitator with Breathing Space. In fact, I prefer to call myself a breathwork catalyst; I am a person who causes change with the breath.

A long time ago a famous teacher told me I would develop my own style of healing. I have now found it. I intend to combine my intuition, my energy healing and the breath into a fabulous portal to the far edges of what we humans are capable of in terms of self healing and transformation.

In the coming months I am seeking out fellow pioneers, who would like to take this journey into the alchemy of the breath with me. If you would like to be one of them, you know where I am. Just tell me you want to breathe yourself free. I’m waiting for you!
